RF Design Engineer I

Responsibilities

• Support RF design and development for passive RF, millimeter-wave components, packages, and multi-function modules.
• Execute EM and circuit-level simulations using tools such as Ansys HFSS, Genesys, ADS, or CST.
• Model designs and run simulation sweeps, parametric studies, and optimizations.
• Assist with RF measurements and characterization using laboratory equipment including VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, and Oscilloscopes.
• Collect, organize, and analyze measured and simulated data to support design reviews and reports.
• Prepare technical documentation to support the Product Generation Process (PGP).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, and Test Engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
• 0-1 years of experience, with a focus on RF/microwave circuit design through academic projects or industry exposure.
• Strong theoretical knowledge of RF circuits such as filters, couplers, power dividers, and baluns.
• Familiarity with EM simulation tools based on Method of Moments (MoM) or Finite Element Method (FEM).
• Demonstrated experience using RF measurement test equipment.
• Proficiency in scripting and data analysis using Python, MATLAB, or similar languages.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the design of active components (e.g., Low Noise Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers).
• Academic publications in the RF domain.
