Revenue Senior Manager

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern ARR recognition policy for Motive’s SaaS and services portfolio
• Drive and coordinate timely, accurate closes and reporting of ARR
• Partner with Deal Desk, Order Management, and Sales Operations to enforce and communicate policy updates
• Apply ASC 606 guidance to complex SaaS and services arrangements
• Assist in the revenue close and participate in technical revenue reviews of contracts
• Identify and implement process improvements across the Quote-to-Cash (QtC) process to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Trace data lineage and diagnose discrepancies across complex system architectures including CRM, billing, and data warehouses

Requirements

• 6–10 years of experience in Revenue Accounting or Revenue Operations for a SaaS or software business
• Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and relevant accounting rules for software and services revenue recognition
• Experience reviewing and analyzing customer orders and contracts to identify revenue-related issues
• Proficiency with Enterprise Systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or RevPro
• Ability to use SQL to investigate data issues across systems and data tables
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority assignments and meet strict deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Public accounting experience
• Experience with ARR reporting and key revenue-related financial metrics
• Experience with Snowflake or SQL notebooks
