By combining data science and machine learning with local market expertise, Ownwell helps reduce expenses and increase Net Operating Income for institutional clients and individual homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Build the foundation for AR aging visibility, reporting, and segmentation
• Design and implement automated outreach workflows
• Evaluate and establish vendor relationships for late-stage recovery
• Document dispute resolution processes and SLAs
• Engage directly with customers to understand payment friction and feed signals to product teams
• Use AI tools to automate outreach and classify disputes
• Build measurement infrastructure including DSO, bad debt rates, and recovery rates
• Develop escalation frameworks and compliance layers

Requirements

• Proven experience standing up a new process, system, or function (Ops, RevOps, CS, or similar)
• Ability to execute with speed and creativity in an ambiguous environment
• AI-fluency and a proactive approach to using modern tools for automation
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle nuanced customer conversations with empathy
• Analytical proficiency with spreadsheets and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in consumer tax resolution, contingency-fee law firm operations, or healthcare revenue cycle management
• Experience in consumer lending, fintech, or high-growth startup operations
• Collections-specific experience is a plus but not required
