Revenue Recognition Manager

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition under ASC 606 across subscriptions, licenses, professional services, and hardware
• Review customer contracts for performance obligations, SSP, and variable consideration
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue close processes
• Maintain deferred revenue and unbilled receivables balances
• Serve as the revenue subject matter expert in NetSuite ARM
• Partner with Sales Operations to improve deal quality and data integrity
• Prepare technical accounting memos for complex arrangements
• Own revenue-related audit requests and serve as primary contact for external auditors
• Build and maintain SOX-ready documentation and controls
• Drive automation and process improvements across revenue workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 3+ years focused on ASC 606
• Strong understanding of multi-element arrangements and SSP
• Experience supporting audits and complex revenue environments
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Prior SaaS or technology industry experience
• Big 4 experience
