About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and drive sales KPIs aligned with overall commercial strategies and establish data-driven monitoring frameworks.
- Design and optimize customer trade terms to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and compliance.
- Lead annual promotion investment planning and conduct post-promotion effectiveness analyses (ROI).
- Improve core commercial processes and partner with Finance to ensure alignment with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with global headquarters to localize and implement digital programs tailored to the Japanese market.
- Provide strategic guidance and governance oversight for commercial decision-making to senior management.
Requirements
- 4-year university degree or above.
- 3 to 5 years of solid experience in Sales Planning functions.
- Proven experience in project management.
- Native Japanese fluency and business-level English proficiency.
- Deep knowledge of the Japanese route to market.
- Strong logical and critical thinking skills with a detail-oriented approach to large data volumes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as PowerBI.
- Experience working in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
