Revenue Cycle Representative - AR

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve accounts receivable for home health and hospice claims after submission
• Follow up with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers on unpaid, underpaid, and denied claims
• Review EOBs and remittance advice to identify discrepancies and take corrective action
• Submit claim corrections, rebills, and appeals as needed
• Communicate with payers by phone, portal, and written correspondence
• Maintain accurate documentation of follow-up activity and payer communications
• Monitor AR aging and prioritize accounts for timely resolution
• Meet productivity, compliance, and AR resolution benchmarks

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in AR management, medical billing, or revenue cycle
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes
• Experience with claim follow-up, denials, and appeals
• Proficiency with billing software and payer portals
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and documentation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with home health and hospice billing regulations
• Familiarity with OASIS, NOA/NOE, PDGM, and hospice benefit periods
• Experience with Medicare replacements and managed care plans
• Understanding of payer authorization and eligibility requirements
• Ability to manage high-volume AR independently and meet deadlines
