Revenue & Billing Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the full billing-to-cash cycle, including customer contract review and revenue recognition
• Invoice across multiple entities and revenue streams including subscription, transaction-based, and professional services
• Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Reconcile billing activity to the subledger and GL in NetSuite monthly
• Manage the end-to-end collections cycle, including aging review, outreach, and dispute resolution
• Audit workflows to identify manual gaps and implement automation solutions
• Evaluate and configure third-party tools to extend NetSuite capabilities
• Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Legal, and FP&A to ensure billing accuracy
• Lead and mentor a team of two direct reports

Requirements

• 5+ years of order to cash experience
• 2+ years of management experience at $50M+ revenue scale
• Experience managing 2,500+ active customers across multiple entities
• Proven track record of building or redesigning billing and collections processes
• Experience translating contract terms and milestones into accurate invoices
• Working knowledge of ASC 606
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite (saved searches, workflow rules, billing schedules)
• Experience with Salesforce

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive NetSuite configuration and admin experience
• Experience with payment platforms and multiple income streams
• SaaS/subscription and government/municipal contract billing experience
• Experience in PE-backed or high-growth environments
