Revenue Assurance Manager

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and identify accounting considerations for revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606
• Review contract set up in revenue sub-ledger systems for US GAAP compliance
• Prepare month-end and quarter-end revenue accrual/deferral entries
• Oversee billing and invoicing processes for government contracts
• Manage customer accounts, aging, and recovery processes
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Forecast and analyze monthly revenues
• Support financial reporting disclosures, supplemental reporting, and audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and control enhancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of relevant experience in revenue accounting
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot tables, macros)
• Experience analyzing complex contract terms and technical accounting research
• Understanding of internal controls and Sarbanes Oxley compliance
• U.S. Citizenship Required

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience with Unanet or Deltek Costpoint
• Public company experience
