Revenue Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly closing activities, including revenue transaction reviews and journal entries
• Lead bi-annual SSP analysis and provide strategic recommendations
• Research and operationalize complex revenue accounting transactions and new GTM strategies
• Support revenue and accounting automation projects and system logic enhancements
• Build and maintain relationships with sales, legal, pricing, and finance partners
• Evaluate accounting treatment of commission capitalization
• Ensure SOX compliance through regular control procedures
• Work with external auditors to ensure ASC 606 compliance

Requirements

• 4-6 years of total accounting experience
• 3-5 years of public accounting experience (Big 4 or large regional firm preferred)
• Software or SaaS ASC 606 revenue accounting experience required
• Expertise in Excel (pivot tables, xlookups, complex formulas)
• Experience with accounting system logic, setup, and design
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related area

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite and SFDC
• Familiarity with multi-obligation arrangements and non-standard contract terms
• Experience with hands-on coaching and mentoring team members
