Revenue Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue accounting and revenue-related close activities for a multi-channel media and analytics business
• Ensure revenue is recorded accurately in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies
• Own revenue recognition processes for commercial arrangements, including contract review and performance obligations
• Establish and maintain strong controls over revenue data flows, reconciliations, and cost of sales
• Partner with cross-functional teams including Sales, Legal, Finance, and Data to ensure scalable processes
• Drive process improvements, automation, and data governance enhancements
• Mentor and develop revenue accounting team members

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 5 years of corporate accounting experience with a focus on revenue accounting or technical accounting
• Experience supporting complex revenue streams in media, advertising, retail media, or technology
• Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and U.S. GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills and experience managing large datasets
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience supervising team members or accounting functions
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving business environment

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA and/or CPA certification
• Experience with Dynamics, Salesforce, and reporting tools
• Experience with new system implementations or high-growth process scaling
