Revenue Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage aspects of the revenue month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, flux analyses, and reporting schedules.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards, specifically ASC 606, for accurate revenue recognition.
• Analyze customer contracts to validate revenue accounting, including assessing standalone selling prices (SSP) and performance obligations.
• Collaborate with US-based teams to evaluate the revenue impact of new product launches and pricing models.
• Drive process enhancements and automation initiatives to accelerate the monthly close and reporting cycle.
• Assist in external audits to support the timely completion of US audit requirements.
• Address discrepancies in the Order-to-Cash (O2C) cycle, including invoicing and deferred revenue.

Requirements

• 2+ years of accounting experience specializing in revenue accounting for US operations.
• Strong working knowledge of ASC 606 and its application to Enterprise SaaS.
• Familiarity with US-based SaaS subscription models and billing practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including handling large datasets.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, particularly Advanced Revenue Management (ARM).
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.
