About the role
Responsibilities
- Making inbound and outbound calls to potential or existing customers
- Promoting and selling products, services, or upgrades based on customer needs
- Explaining features, pricing, terms, and promotions clearly and professionally
- Handling objections and closing sales using persuasive, customer-first approaches
- Recording customer information and interactions in CRM tools
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets, conversion goals, and call quality metrics
- Collaborating with your team and supervisors to continuously improve performance
Requirements
- At least 6 months of sales experience in a BPO or call center environment
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales quotas or commission-based goals
- Strong verbal communication skills and persuasive selling techniques
- Fluency in English (B2 level or higher)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using CRM systems, scripts, and productivity tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous roles in telemarketing, upselling, retention, or cross-selling
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, or Five9
- Experience handling cold calls, warm leads, or contract renewals
