Retention & Second Year Experience Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs that promote student persistence from the first to second year and beyond
• Coordinate workshops, events, and mentoring opportunities tailored to the unique needs of sophomore students
• Monitor student progress and analyze retention data to identify and address barriers to success
• Collaborate with faculty, advisors, and student affairs staff to create a supportive learning environment
• Encourage student involvement in campus life, leadership opportunities, and academic enrichment activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• Demonstrated experience in student success, retention programs, or academic advising
• Strong communication, organizational, and program development skills
• Knowledge of student development theory and higher education retention strategies

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Higher Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, or a related field
