About the role
Responsibilities
- Deliver hands-on new hire training in a convenience store environment to ensure consistency and standardization
- Administer candidate skill and behavior assessments and document results in HRIS
- Facilitate new hire orientation sessions and other in-person classes
- Work with management to identify performance gaps and develop solutions to improve team performance
- Manage training content and collaborate on the design and implementation of new hire manuals and aides
- Provide feedback documentation to management following training audits
- Maintain subject matter expertise in store equipment and standard operating procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent retail experience
- Experience in training facilitation and coaching for performance improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in videoconferencing platforms such as Zoom and Teams
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialized training in a retail environment
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or Adult Education
- 2-3 years of front-line retail experience
- Experience leveraging HRIS and learning management systems
