Retail Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-line retail team to drive sales and ensure operational excellence at the University of Wisconsin Team Store
• Coach and train part-time retail associates and leads to ensure an exemplary fan experience
• Drive sales results through consistent execution of daily operations and back-of-house stockroom organization
• Perform "Manager on Duty" responsibilities and make recommendations to the leadership team regarding revenue targets and KPIs
• Communicate clear expectations for assignments and projects to the retail team
• Maintain proficiency in retail operation systems including POS and inventory management tools

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including days, nights, weekends, and extended hours on game days
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work independently and responsibly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, literacy, and numeracy skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in retail or sales
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience
• Proficiency in retail operation systems (POS, OpSuite, etc.)
• Foreign language skills
