Retail Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day work of assigned associate-level staff
• Provide direction, guidance, training, and coaching to team members to ensure efficient operations and a high-quality customer experience
• Supervise assigned departments, overseeing profitability through effective receiving, handling, and replenishment of stock
• Create and maintain a positive store culture through teamwork and leading by example
• Collaborate with the store leadership team regarding policies, procedures, and operational standards
• Ensure employees adhere to company procedures and quality standards while resolving any errors or problems

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a retail position or similar specialization
• Proficiency operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and other in-store computerized systems
• Effective communication skills to exchange ideas with leadership, associates, and consumers
• Ability to work in an active environment, including constant movement and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
