Retail Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day work of associate-level staff and provide direction, training, and coaching.
• Supervise assigned departments to ensure efficient operations, proper store procedures, and profitability.
• Manage inventory tasks including receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing merchandise.
• Foster a positive store culture through teamwork and by leading by example.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team regarding policies, procedures, and operational standards.
• Ensure employees adhere to company quality standards and resolve any operational errors or problems.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a retail leadership position or similar specialization.
• Proficiency in operating Point of Sales (POS) systems and other in-store computerized systems.
• Effective communication skills to exchange information with leadership, associates, and consumers.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally.
• Physical ability to move about an active environment and lift/move items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
