Retail Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day work of associate-level staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide direction, guidance, training, and coaching to team members to support the customer experience.
• Supervise assigned departments, managing profitability through receiving, handling, and replenishing stock.
• Foster a positive store culture through teamwork and leading by example.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team regarding policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure employees adhere to company quality standards and resolve any operational errors.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a retail position or specialization.
• Proficiency operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and other in-store computerized systems.
• Effective communication skills to exchange information with leadership, associates, and consumers.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally.
• Physical ability to move about an active environment and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
