Retail Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day work of associate-level staff and provide coaching and training
• Ensure efficient store operations and adherence to company procedures and quality standards
• Supervise assigned departments, managing profitability through receiving, handling, and replenishment
• Foster a positive store culture through teamwork and leading by example
• Collaborate with the store leadership team regarding policies and standards
• Resolve operational problems or errors to maintain a high professional standard

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar position or specialization
• Proficiency operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and other in-store computerized systems
• Effective communication skills to exchange information with leadership, associates, and consumers
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally
• Physical ability to move constantly and lift/move items weighing up to 40 lbs
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
