Retail Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day work of associate-level staff
• Provide direction, guidance, training, and coaching to team members to ensure efficient operations
• Supervise assigned departments, overseeing profitability through receiving, handling, and replenishing stock
• Create and maintain a positive store culture through teamwork and leading by example
• Collaborate with the store leadership team regarding policies, procedures, and standards
• Ensure employees adhere to company procedures and quality standards

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a retail leadership or specialized position
• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and other in-store computerized systems
• Strong communication skills to exchange ideas with leadership, associates, and consumers
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally
• Ability to move about constantly and lift up to 40 lbs in a physical retail environment
