Retail Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day work of associate-level staff and provide direction, training, and coaching.
• Supervise assigned departments to ensure efficient operations, proper procedures, and store profitability.
• Manage inventory tasks including receiving, handling, replenishing, and processing merchandise.
• Foster a positive store culture through teamwork and by leading by example.
• Collaborate with the store leadership team regarding policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure employees adhere to company standards and resolve any operational problems or errors.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in a retail position or similar specialization.
• Proficiency operating Point of Sale (POS) systems and other in-store computerized systems.
• Strong communication skills to effectively exchange information with leadership, associates, and consumers.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally.
• Physical ability to move constantly and lift/adjust items weighing up to 40 lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
