Retail Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including employee supervision and inventory management
• Develop and execute sales plans to drive profitability and grow the business
• Manage all location staff functions to provide exceptional customer service
• Recruit, train, develop, and motivate employees through coaching and counseling
• Solicit commercial truck tire accounts and maintain existing customer relationships
• Protect company assets, including inventory, accounts receivable, and equipment
• Manage safety, health, and environmental processes to ensure compliance with all laws
• Perform manual tasks including lifting commercial tires and wheels (up to 75-100 lbs routinely)

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s license in good standing
• 5+ years of experience in the tire industry
• 2-5 years of experience in people management or project leadership
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Basic math skills and strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• College Degree
• 7+ years of experience in the tire industry
• 5+ years of experience managing and leading people
• 3+ years in retail tire sales
• TIA Certification
• Knowledge of retread tires
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
