Retail Showroom Sales Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage daily retail sales within the Hawthorne House showroom, providing warm, attentive service to clients and design professionals
• Oversee the consignment program for high-end furnishings, antiques, art, artisan, and decorative objects
• Work with the marketing team to maintain and update Shopify, ensuring inventory accuracy
• Collaborate with marketing to create content in Canva and coordinate Instagram Shopping posts
• Support the Outside Sales Specialist with project coordination, order tracking, and vendor communication
• Organize and host showroom events, including lunch and learns and vendor presentations
• Maintain the visual presentation of the showroom to ensure displays are cohesive and aligned with the brand
• Track retail and consignment sales and assist with shipping and delivery coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Decorative Arts, Interior Design, or a related field preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in retail sales, visual merchandising, or showroom coordination
• Knowledge of furnishings, decorative arts, and lighting
• Familiarity with Shopify, Instagram Shopping, and web-based retail systems
• Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat
• Must be based in or near Athens, Georgia, and available for in-showroom work
