Retail Service Agent

Responsibilities

• Perform over-the-counter customer service, administrative, and clerical duties.
• Advise customers on products and services to achieve sales objectives and develop frequent customer accounts.
• Assist customers with package tracing and answering inquiries via phone or in person.
• Inspect packages for proper labeling, legality of content, weight, size, and compliance with customs documentation.
• Manage branch opening and closing procedures, including maintaining a clean work area and managing supplies.
• Safeguard company values and prevent mishandling or deviations in the work center.
• Identify new business opportunities and submit sales leads to optimize branch profitability.

Requirements

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English.
• Two (2) years of experience in customer service with a focus on sales.
• Experience in cash management and handling other values.
• Previous experience in a FedEx SCS Warehouse with knowledge of operations.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs (34 kg) and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs (68 kg) using appropriate equipment.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in using technology such as scanners, printers, and intranet systems.
• Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
