Retail Security Officer

Responsibilities

• Supervise operations of an assigned client site and manage a team of security officers
• Handle escalated security issues, emergency situations, and property emergencies
• Conduct general patrols of the entire property, including interior and exterior
• Maintain access control procedures and utilize CCTV and visitor management systems
• Monitor security cameras and identify tenants or visitors upon arrival
• Reconcile logs, review incident reports, and coordinate preliminary investigations
• Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty
• Record data regarding property damage, unusual occurrences, or equipment malfunctions

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• 3 years of prior experience as a security officer or in a related field
• Must be at least 25 years of age
• Valid Level II Texas Security License
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift/push/pull at least 50 lbs
• Ability to perform duties in various weather conditions
