Retail Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Execute sales, merchandising, and customer service through regular visits to established clients in the South Shore Montreal region
• Verify product distribution, planogram compliance, and retail price accuracy
• Manage stock rotation, identify out-of-stock items, and place orders as necessary
• Implement national and regional corporate promotional programs on the sales floor
• Present and sell volume-driving programs to store personnel
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key store staff to strengthen company positioning
• Provide consistent feedback regarding competitors to the Retail Sales Manager
• Attend trade shows, corporate meetings, and client meetings as required

Requirements

• College or university diploma
• 2 years of recognized experience in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) sales and merchandising
• Proven negotiation and sales skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills across all hierarchical levels
• Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate in a fast-paced environment
• Highly organized and structured approach to territory management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingualism is considered an asset
• Ability and flexibility to change territories or client assignments
• Local residency within the assigned territory is a significant asset
