Retail Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Present and sell products at the store level according to national and regional promotions to increase sales and shelf space
• Merchandise products according to national bulletins, ensuring stock rotation and availability of POP materials
• Advise customers of upcoming advertisements, promotions, and new product launches
• Utilize strong selling skills to support store-level bookings
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with key store personnel
• Provide consistent feedback regarding competitor activity and market information to the Retail Manager
• Attend customer and company sales meetings as required

Requirements

• College/university degree or equivalent professional experience
• 2 years of proven sales or merchandising experience within the consumer-packaged goods (CPG) industry
• Basic math skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• Experience using handheld retail tablets and comfort with automation technology
• Possession of a reliable vehicle (KM allowance provided)
• Access to a mobile phone and internet (allowance provided)
