Retail Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Keep abreast of market conditions and new items
• Develop pricing strategies and order guides
• Meet company and sales profit objectives
• Maintain knowledge of markets and growing conditions
• Present profitable programs to potential and existing customers
• Communicate customer needs to buyers and operations
• Maintain professional relationships with retailers and vendors
• Organize special sales and promotions
• Manage individual account sales and gross profit
• Ensure orders are submitted before cut-off times
• Perform warehouse product checks twice daily
• Maintain quality and food safety standards

Requirements

• Intermediate knowledge of retail industry or produce operations
• Knowledge of sales and promotion principles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Safe driving record and proof of insurance
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel up to 50%
