Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and build relationships through attentive listening and consultation
• Assist customers in product selection by educating them on cannabis products and their effects
• Apply effective selling and cross-selling techniques
• Verify customer documentation and identification
• Ensure accuracy of orders, labeling, and packaging
• Perform cash handling using the Point of Sale system
• Maintain accurate records of sales, deliveries, and returns in compliance with state regulations
• Conduct routine inventory counts and organize product stock
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment
• Escalate customer or employee issues to management

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
• Ability to work flexible shifts including openings, closings, weekends, and holidays
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to learn and apply technical product information
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail or hospitality
