Retail Sales Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service to every customer by greeting them and assisting with product selection
• Execute sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, including cash, credit, and check payments
• Utilize selling techniques such as add-on sales and technical product descriptions to meet store sales goals
• Assist with stockroom management, including product flow to the sales floor and checking paperwork against received items
• Maintain store visual standards by assisting with merchandise displays and general housekeeping
• Ensure the security of company assets and stock to minimize shrinkage

Requirements

• Matric certificate
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a retail environment
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems
• High energy levels and a proactive mindset
