About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing tailored financial advice.
  • Proactively engage with existing customers and the local community to grow loyalty and identify new business opportunities.
  • Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business needs.
  • Guide customers on digital and self-serve banking options to enhance their experience.
  • Make credit recommendations for personal lending and home financing in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply risk management frameworks to protect bank assets and maintain a high-quality lending portfolio.
  • Collaborate with branch and market teams to achieve business objectives and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Working knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business solutions.
  • Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and social media.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with a focus on results.
