About the role

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing tailored financial advice.
  • Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business needs.
  • Proactively engage with the community to generate appointments and build new customer relationships.
  • Provide guidance on digital and self-serve banking options to enhance the customer experience.
  • Make credit recommendations for personal lending and home financing in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Apply risk management frameworks to protect bank assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and compliance with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Appropriate lending qualifications and designations.
  • Working knowledge of retail investment products and lending solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment.
