Retail Relationship Banker

Responsibilities

• Support DeNovo branch expansion by building a client base through proactive community engagement and business development
• Conduct needs-based assessments to identify financial solutions including everyday banking, retail investments, and lending
• Generate new relationships and appointments through community outreach, networking, and referrals
• Provide advice and guidance on digital and self-serve banking options to enhance customer experience
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions and home financing in compliance with bank policies
• Manage risk by applying the bank's risk management framework to protect assets and maintain portfolio quality
• Resolve customer issues and ensure accurate data entry in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business customer needs
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration as required by federal regulations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on building rapport and customer loyalty
• Proficiency with digital tools, including social media, tablets, and online banking applications
