Retail Relationship Banker

Responsibilities

• Support DeNovo branch expansion by building a client base through proactive community engagement and business development
• Identify customer needs and provide tailored advice regarding financial solutions, including retail investments, lending, and small business solutions
• Generate new relationships and deepen existing ones through outreach, referrals, and networking within the local community
• Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend appropriate banking channels and products
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Promote digital and self-serve banking options to enhance the customer experience
• Manage risk by applying the Bank's risk management framework to protect assets and maintain portfolio quality

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and personal/small business banking solutions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex customer needs
• Ability to thrive in a goal-driven, consultative sales environment
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online applications
