Retail Relationship Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service by identifying customer needs and providing advice on financial solutions, including retail investments and lending.
• Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects through needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
• Recommend tailored solutions for everyday banking, home financing, and small business needs.
• Guide customers on digital and self-serve banking options to improve their experience.
• Generate new business by reaching out to the community and building new relationships.
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Apply risk management frameworks to protect bank assets and maintain the quality of the lending portfolio.
• Resolve customer issues and ensure accurate data entry in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of retail investment products and lending solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with customers.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a results-oriented, team-based environment.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
