Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service by identifying customer needs and providing advice on financial solutions, including retail investments and lending.
- Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects through needs-based assessments to grow loyalty and identify opportunities.
- Recommend tailored solutions for everyday banking, home financing, and small business needs.
- Guide customers on digital and self-serve banking options to improve their experience.
- Make credit recommendations for personal lending transactions in accordance with bank policies and sound credit principles.
- Apply risk management frameworks to protect bank assets and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Build new relationships within the community by generating appointments and outreach.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business customer needs.
- Federal registration with the NMLS (required for U.S. candidates).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
- Ability to work flexibly, including varying shifts and potentially multiple branch locations.
