Retail Relationship Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service by identifying customer needs and providing tailored advice on banking, investments, and lending solutions
• Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects through needs-based assessments to grow loyalty
• Recommend financial solutions including everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business solutions
• Guide customers on digital and self-serve banking options to improve efficiency and ease of use
• Generate new business by reaching out to the community and scheduling appointments
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending and home financing in compliance with bank policies
• Manage risk by following regulatory requirements, protecting customer privacy, and identifying suspicious activity

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business customer needs
• Federal registration with the NMLS is required (the Bank will provide instruction on registration)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish and English
• Experience in a consultative customer service or sales environment
