Retail Relationship Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service by identifying customer needs and providing tailored advice on banking, investments, and lending solutions
• Proactively engage with existing customers and prospects through needs-based assessments to grow loyalty
• Recommend financial solutions including everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business solutions
• Guide customers on digital and self-serve banking options to improve ease of use
• Generate new business by reaching out to the community and building new relationships
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending and home financing in compliance with bank policies
• Apply risk management frameworks to protect bank assets and maintain portfolio quality
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements, including identifying suspicious activity

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Working knowledge of retail investments and lending products
• Ability to obtain NMLS registration (required for U.S. positions)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online applications
• Bilingualism in Spanish and English is preferred
