Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying financial needs and providing tailored advice.
- Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business needs.
- Proactively engage with the community to generate appointments and build new client relationships.
- Provide guidance on digital and self-serve banking options to enhance the customer experience.
- Make credit recommendations for personal lending and home financing in compliance with bank policies.
- Apply risk management frameworks to protect bank assets and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Resolve customer issues and maintain accurate data entry for lending applications and consumer credit audits.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role.
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business solutions.
- Federal registration with the NMLS (Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System) is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include different shifts or multiple branch locations.
