Retail Relationship Banker

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects by identifying needs and providing tailored financial advice.
• Proactively engage with the community to generate appointments and build new banking relationships.
• Conduct needs-based assessments to recommend solutions for everyday banking, retail investments, lending, and small business needs.
• Guide customers on digital and self-serve banking options to improve their experience.
• Make credit recommendations for personal lending and home financing in compliance with bank policies.
• Apply risk management frameworks to protect bank assets and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with branch team members to achieve business objectives and contribute to a positive team culture.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial services or a consultative sales role.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Working knowledge of retail investments, lending products, and small business solutions.
• Federal registration with the NMLS is required (the Bank will provide instruction on registration).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including tablets, smartphones, and online banking applications.
