Retail Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Dispense medical cannabis medications based on physician recommendations
• Provide individual patient consultations to determine optimal therapy
• Maintain and rotate inventory control
• Submit and review state prescription monitoring programs
• Comply with all state medical cannabis program laws and regulations
• Maintain accurate records and manage outdated or damaged inventory
• Supervise support personnel and maintain pharmacist registration
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Stay updated on pharmacological knowledge through workshops and publications
• Support marketing content creation on a project basis

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD
• 1+ years of experience in a pharmacy setting
• Active pharmacist license in good standing in the state of New York
• Completion of state-required Medical Cannabis education programs
• Understanding of cannabinoids and their interaction with the human body
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws pertaining to the industry
• Must be 21 years of age or older
