Retail Officer

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and proactive customer service in-store, via phone, and through email to drive sales.
• Operate POS systems accurately, managing payments, returns, exchanges, and end-of-shift reconciliations.
• Maintain high visual merchandising standards, including stock presentation and replenishment.
• Coordinate stock receiving, pricing, stocktakes, and inventory records.
• Manage online order processing and dispatch to support digital sales channels.
• Support casual staff during shifts and escalate complex operational issues to the Retail Coordinator.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail or customer service roles, including face-to-face sales.
• Competency with POS systems and secure cash handling procedures.
• Ability to perform accurate data entry into business or inventory systems.
• Strong eye for detail regarding visual merchandising and commercial displays.
• Ability to manage time and priorities effectively within a retail environment.
• Possession of (or ability to obtain) a valid Working with Children Check.
