Retail Marketing & Visual Merchandising Assistant

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of general visual merchandising guidelines for all Salomon touchpoints.
• Assist in constructing seasonal and campaign VM guidelines for Brand Stores, Factory Outlets, and Wholesale partners globally.
• Support the planning of new store openings in collaboration with local VM teams worldwide.
• Maintain strong connections with Regional VM teams (APAC, EMEA, NAM, LATAM) to gather and implement feedback.
• Participate in the creation, maintenance, and logistics of the "Retail Lab" by managing samples and displays.
• Contribute to new store concept development by testing product display options on various fixtures and furniture.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master's degree in Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, or Graphic Design.
• English proficiency level B2 or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must have a valid internship agreement (convention de stage).
• Ability to work onsite in Annecy, France.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of or experience in the outdoor industry.
• Previous experience in a retail environment or project management.
• Proficiency in French.
• A creative eye for design, colors, and fashion.

Benefits

• Monthly internship allowance based on education level (Master's level: €950 gross).
• Housing support of €300 upon presentation of a lease agreement.
