Retail Market Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial performance, client experience, and operational efficiency of bank locations within the Upstate Carolinas region
• Develop and execute regional strategies to meet sales and revenue targets, driving growth in deposits, loans, and retail products
• Provide people management leadership by hiring, developing, and managing performance for a diverse team of financial center managers
• Maintain a strong culture of integrity and risk management, ensuring all locations adhere to banking regulations and internal policies
• Ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience by overseeing client-focused initiatives and addressing customer feedback
• Build strong relationships within local communities and represent the bank at networking opportunities and business forums
• Collaborate with internal partners in Commercial, Small Business, and Wealth management to support regional financial growth

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in retail banking or a financial institution
• 5+ years of management experience, preferably within a retail banking environment
• Proven experience in sales and business development
• Strong leadership competencies, business acumen, and ability to influence across business lines
• Experience with consumer lending is preferred
