Retail Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily retail store operations to achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales goals
• Supervise and develop a team of approximately 15 employees and up to three subordinate supervisors
• Control expenses and manage inventory through timely requisitioning of donated and new goods
• Maintain merchandising standards, including colorization, classification, and attractive displays
• Oversee hiring, training, work scheduling, and performance appraisals for all staff
• Ensure a safe and clean shopping environment and enforce loss prevention procedures
• Manage pricing policies and ensure compliance with salvage and auction procedures
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns efficiently

Requirements

• Experience in retail management or a related field (one-year certificate or equivalent experience)
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage staff, and meet financial targets
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly
• Current Texas driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
• Strong mathematical skills for computing rates, ratios, and percentages
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual skills are a plus
