Retail Manager - Flooring Department

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Flooring Department team to exceed individual and store sales targets
• Provide exceptional customer service and expert advice on flooring solutions
• Manage customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure timely, accurate service delivery
• Perform in-home sales tasks, including measuring, drawing, and reading plans
• Coach and assist team members to maximize sales performance
• Manage daily work tasks while prioritizing customer needs and problem-solving

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management with a strong sales track record
• High level of product knowledge in flooring (carpets, timber floors, tiles, etc.)
• Ability to measure, draw, and read plans for in-home consultations
• Current driver's license and reliable personal transport (car preferred)
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends, public holidays, and late-night trades
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
