Retail Manager - Flooring Department

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Flooring Department team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Provide exceptional customer service and expert advice on flooring solutions
• Manage customer queries, resolve complaints, and ensure timely, accurate service
• Perform in-home sales tasks, including measuring and reading plans
• Coach and assist team members to maximize sales performance
• Manage daily work tasks while prioritizing customer needs and satisfaction
• Maintain flexibility to work across retail trading hours, including weekends and public holidays

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail management with a strong sales track record
• Extensive product knowledge in flooring, such as carpets, timber, and tiles
• Ability to measure, draw, and read plans for flooring installations
• Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for in-home visits
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work effectively in a team environment
