Retail Key Account Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key retail clients to understand their needs and challenges.
• Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless order processing and timely product delivery.
• Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to develop account growth strategies.
• Prepare and conduct client presentations and product demonstrations.
• Identify opportunities for business development and upselling within existing accounts.
• Support the negotiation and administration of contracts and service agreements.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform management strategies.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and achievement of sales targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience selling protein (chicken, turkey, beef, pork, or fish) to retailers, grocers, or wholesalers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
