Retail Grooming Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform receptionist duties including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and checking pets in/out
• Provide bathing, nail trims, and basic grooming services for pets
• Train to become a proficient pet groomer under the guidance of the Lead Groomer
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by cleaning the front desk, grooming shop, and bathing areas
• Communicate effectively with customers, the Store Manager, and the grooming team
• Follow all safety protocols and assist with self-serve bathing stations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous pet or animal handling experience, or a strong willingness to learn
• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Basic computer skills and ability to operate automated office machines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
