Retail Construction Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive project schedules and manage contractors, vendors, and consultants to meet critical milestones
• Assist with due diligence on real estate sourcing regarding building condition, engineering, and utilities
• Own construction and FF&E budgets, including forecasting and cost management
• Partner with external architects to review design documentation and advise on constructability
• Manage GC bidding, appointment, and contract execution processes
• Oversee procurement for all vendors and suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
• Negotiate and track change orders to minimize budget impact
• Lead weekly construction progress and procurement meetings
• Partner with Operations, Visual Merchandising, and Retail teams for store turnover
• Execute project closeouts, including punch lists and landlord documentation
• Assist in collecting documentation for Tenant Improvement Allowances

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction management experience focusing on high-end retail rollouts
• Strong spreadsheet and budgeting skills
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and manage construction sites
• Proven project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel to new store locations

• An eye for design with the ability to make on-site design decisions
• Experience creating and documenting processes from scratch
• Ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
